SP-SL50
Skirting Profile for Clipping, Gluing, or Screwing
The patent-pending SP-SL50 skirting board system is the world’s most delicate skirting board with a clip function, featuring a mere 3 mm installation height. The design does not interfere with the expansion joint, allowing the floor to move freely.
The profiles are flexible, adapt to uneven walls, and remain dimensionally stable despite their delicate construction. High-quality standard finishes and individual powder coatings allow for maximum design flexibility.
Installation and removal are done via the mounting clip: glue or screw on, hook in, clip – done. Corner connectors eliminate miter cuts, and the mounting clips themselves prevent impact sound from entering the masonry.
Made from recycled aluminum, the SP-SL50 system is resistant, flexible, and fully recyclable.

Easy Installation in just 6 Steps
Easier and faster installation than our excellent, proven, and patent-pending clip system is hardly possible: See for yourself.
Step 1
Preparation
For flawless installation, it is necessary that the wall surfaces are completely plastered, filled, and/or painted. Wall and skirting areas must be prepared dust-free, dry, and clean. The floor covering must be fully laid and finished, with the expansion joint between the floor and wall not exceeding a maximum width of 14 mm.
Step 2
Prepare and Attach Adhesive Clips
The adhesive clips are inserted into the mounting aid, with the arrow marking pointing upwards. Then, the wax paper of the adhesive pad is removed. The mounting aid is then guided along the floor towards the wall to precisely position and adhere the adhesive clip to the wall. Afterwards, the mounting aid is removed. Finally, the adhesive clip should be pressed briefly and firmly against the wall again to ensure secure adhesion.
Step 3
Install Adhesive Clips
This installation step is repeated at intervals of approximately 60 cm along the wall. Depending on the nature and unevenness of the wall, the distance between individual adhesive clips can be adjusted, i.e., reduced or increased. If adhesion is not possible in particularly difficult areas, the clip can alternatively be securely screwed to the wall using the centrally located slotted hole.
Step 4
Attach Profiles
The aluminum skirting profile is first hooked into the mounted adhesive clips from the top, then pivoted downwards towards the wall, and securely clicked into place. Due to its high flexibility, the profile effortlessly adapts to slight unevenness in the wall, ensuring a clean, uniform finish. For 90° corners, no miter cut is required – simply use the appropriate corner connectors.
Step 5
Align Profiles
The profile is aligned centrally with the adhesive clip to ensure exact positioning and to allow the next profile to be seamlessly joined end-to-end.
